There’s just something about a 1 on 1 creative session that gives me the warm fuzzies…

I don’t know how to describe it, but I get beyond excited (and it just warms my insides) anytime I get to do anything that is personalized and 1 on 1: facials, working with a stylist or makeup artist, brainstorming, any type of consultation, and a good creative session. Case in point: partnering weekly with an incredibly creative and detail-loving local photographer, Sarah Everett, also known as #agirlinspired.

I’m pretty new to this whole blog photography thing… but already I’m loving every second of working with Sarah and I look forward to our sessions every week. Why?

    • She has a great eye for backdrops and locations that will go well with your outfit and the story you’re trying to create
    • Offers great suggestions and gives helpful tips
    • Super responsive, sweet, and a pleasure to work with
    • Is encouraging and supportive of your work

If any of you dear readers are local to the Sacramento area, I would definitely reach out to Sarah for any of your creative projects. She is an awesome sounding board and a lot of fun to work with!

Done gushing about Sarah, now onto gushing about my outfit 😉 I’m going to link similar pieces to the outfit I’m wearing in this post, but I want to especially point out my coral, preppy-chic flats. They are hands down, one of the best investments I’ve made thus far. And they weren’t even “investment” priced – they are super affordable. The best thing about them (other than the happy orange color) is they are SO comfortable. They are a memory foam type shoe, or as my sister says, “old granny shoes.” Maybe so, but I love how they gave my outfit a preppy chic vibe and the detailing is just too adorable.

If you’re looking for a cute and comfy commuter flat, take these beauties home with you. Also shout out to the white tank, as I’ve been counting on it a TON (see it here and here).

Until next time… thank you for stopping by today! I appreciate you guys taking the time to visit so, so much!
