Partying for a cause is one of my favorite past times because:

    • I can support an amazing nonprofit simply by attending one of their events. Many nonprofits depend on revenue sales from an event, so purchasing a ticket is one of the easiest things I can do.
    • I learn about the nonprofit’s mission, and the people they are trying to help. It is such an eye-opener to the many issues and challenges that people in my community face – and how difficult some people have it.
    • It is always a great time! I meet like-minded people, make connections, and learn something new.
    • I have an excuse to wear something cute 🙂

I recently volunteered/attended Francis House’s Annual Feast in the Streets in Sacramento, and had the most wonderful time. Francis House works with individuals and families struggling with homelessness and poverty by providing resources, support and inspiration to get them off the streets and into long-term stability.

After the event, me and some friends (and new friends!) gathered at my good friend Sherri’s house and played some good old fashioned board games. We played The Battle of the Sexes – it was definitely a fun and hilarious time and one of the more memorable nights of 2016 (thus far). I was comfy all evening in a (similar) floral scalloped top, comfy jeans, black cardigan, nude tote, and turquoise wedges.

I can’t wait for another #partyforacause event, my goal is to attend one every month. What are some of your social goals? Do share below!

I’m on vacation this week!!!!!!! Due to this, I will be unwinding from social media and will only have one post this week (as opposed to two normal posts). Have a great week, cuties!!
